The atom was build in 1846 on the hills above wycoller. No one really knows why but everyone locally thinks it is a waste of money and looks stupid plonked on the hill top.
Many local
celebrities attended the opening ceremony including:-
Tony (H) Wilson
and
Red or Dead's
Wayne Hemingway.
